A fully operational outdoor sports complex - The Morrett Sports Complex, our Field of Dreams is located just off of Manchester Avenue (State Road 13 North) on the north side of the city of Wabash. It is 53 acres dedicated to outdoor sports. There are 4 softball diamonds that house girls softball, men's softball and Co-ed softball. It will host a number of tournaments annually. The complex also houses the YMCA Soccer Program as well as a tackle football program for Grades 4-6 and a flag football league for grades 1-3. Wabash Little League has 4 baseball fields on the complex grounds also. There is also a paved nature trail called the Charley Creek Trail that connects the Sports Complex to O.J. Neighbors Elementary School. It is three quarters of a mile long through a wooded area that features deer, birds and other wildlife. It is used by numerous outdoor enthusiasts to walk, run or rides bikes for enjoyment and exercise. It is also convenient for young league participants to safely ride their bikes to games or practice without having to cross a state highway or an extremely busy street in the area.
