YMCA FOOD PANTRY:

Fighting Food Insecurity in Wabash County!

Thanks to our partners at Purdue Extension, the Wabash County YMCA is proud to host an Impact Pantry, providing essential food resources to those in need.

Pantry Hours: Recognizing that hunger doesn’t follow a schedule, the YMCA’s Impact Pantry is designed to accommodate varying needs.

  • Tuesdays: 12:00 PM – 1:00 PM
  • Thursdays: 6:00 PM – 7:00 PM
  • Emergency Assistance: If you are facing an urgent need, the pantry can be opened upon request to ensure accessibility for all.

Grand Opening - The YMCA Impact Pantry will officially open on February 18, 2025, and all are welcome to utilize this free resource.

How to Get Assistance - For more information or to request assistance outside of regular hours, please contact: Brittany Burnett – bburnett@wabashcountyymca.org

About Impact Pantries - Impact Pantries is a county-wide initiative aiming to meet local families where they are in their battle against food insecurity by providing an easily accessible food and wellness pantry with extended days and hours of operation. This opportunity is made possible through a partnership with Purdue Extension Nutrition Education Program, The Wabash County Health Department, Grow Wabash County, The Wabash County Stellar Community Committee, Midwest Poultry Services, Doud's Countyline Orchard, Midwest Poultry Services, Second Harvest  Food Bank of East Central Indiana, and locations housing an Impact Pantry including Southwood Junior-Senior Highschool and Wabash County YMCA.

Together, we are working to ensure that no one in Wabash County goes hungry. Thank you to all who support this vital mission!
